COSEWIC Status:  Endangered
Reason for Designation:  Only a few hundred plants remain in two small colonies that are highly disjunct from main range of the species.  The decline is due to agricultural expansion and impact of exotic species.1
Canadian Occurrence: Ontario
COSEWIC Status History:  Designated Endangered in April 1993.  Status re-examined and confirmed in May 2000. Last assessment based on an existing status report with an addendum.

1Since completion of the Status Report (Bowles and Oldham, 1993) an additional population has been found.
