Sommaire biographique des rédacteurs du rapport

Rob Mello west titulaire d’un baccalauréat en biologie de la Wilfrid Laurier University (1989). Il œuvre depuis plus de dix années dans les sciences environnementales, notamment la biologie aquatique, la restauration des mines et l’évaluation et la remise en état de sites industriels. Il a acquis ses connaissances au sein du ministère de l’Environnement et du ministère du Développement du Nord et des Mines de l’Ontario, de même qu’à titre de consultant privé. Il a mis ses connaissances en biologie au profit de recherches sur le terrain portant sur la caractérisation de l’eau, des sédiments, des poissons et des invertébrés aquatiques dans le nord de l’Ontario, en relation avec les industries des mines et des pâtes et papiers. M. Mellow travaille actuellement pour Golder Associates Ltd. à Sudbury, en Ontario, à titre de biologiste de l’environnement et de chargé de projets.

Nicholas E. Mandrak est chercheur au ministère des Pêches et Océans du Canada à Burlington, Ontario. Ses intérêts de recherche sont la biodiversité, la biogéographie et la conservation des poissons d’eau douce du Canada. M. Mandrak a corédigé de 24 rapports du COSEPAC.

Becky Cudmore est biologiste au ministère des Pêches et des Océans du Canada à Burlington, en Ontario. Ses intérêts de recherche sont la biodiversité des poissons d’eau douce, notamment les espèces envahissantes et la protection et le rétablissement des espèces en péril. Mme Cudmore a corédigé 5 rapports du COSEPAC.
